Asian Games 2010 adalah Asian Games yang ke-16 dan akan diadakan di Guangzhou dari 2 November 2010 sampai 18 November 2010. Guangzhou memenangkan proses pemilihan setelah menyisihkan Amman, Kuala Lumpur, dan Seoul. Seoul mengundurkan diri setelah mempertimbangkan bahwa mereka baru saja menjadi tuan rumah Asian Games 2002 di Busan. Kuala Lumpur juga mengundurkan diri.

SPORTS

Below is the list of sports which will be contested in 2010 Asian Games. Officially there are 42 sports, among them 28 are featured in Olympic Games while the rest added as unique to the Asian Games. Cricket, DanceSport, Dragon Boat, and Weiqi / Igo will debut in this event, while Bodybuilding dropped because of the judging controversy during 2006 Asian Games.

VENUES

As the preparations, the organiser will build eleven new stadiums and gymnasiums and rebuild the existing 32. The cost is estimated to be 6 billion yuan while Athletes Village to set to costing around 2 billion Yuan.
